Organized by China Foundation for Human Rights Development (CFHRD), the forum titled "Building International Communication Synergy For Better Sharing China Human Rights Stories" was held on January 7 in Beijing.

Among the attendees were human rights experts, scholars and representatives from the China Disabled Persons' Federation, All-China Women's Federation, China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, China Education Development Foundation, China Foundation for Rural Development, China Social Welfare Foundation, China Charity Alliance, China Association for NGO Cooperation, Xinhua News Agency and China Media Group. They shared their experience in implementing public welfare projects and promoting human rights. They also discussed how to strengthen exchanges and cooperation.

Xie Fuzhan, president of CFHRD and former president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, delivered a speech. Zhou Shuchun, executive vice-president of CFHRD and former president and editor-in-chief of China Daily, presided over the forum.
