On June 3rd, Xie Fuzhan, president of the China Foundation for Human Rights Development (CFHRD), met in Beijing with a German delegation led by Herta Däubler-Gmelin, former German Federal Minister of Justice and former Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid of the German Bundestag.The two sides reviewed the productive exchanges and cooperation between the CFHRD and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES). They engaged in a cordial exchange on consolidating and deepening the people-to-people human rights dialogue, and promoting mutual understanding on human rights issues between the two societies.

Vice secretary-general of the CFHRD Qinliang and Sun Linhu, and chief representative of the FES’s Beijing representative office Sai Qiao, attended the meeting.
