On June 30, a delegation of nine members from the China Foundation for Human Rights Development (CFHRD) arrived in Geneva and began a ten-day visit to attend the 59th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, hold meetings and organize a thematic side event. 

On the same day, all delegation members participated in an interactive dialogue of the UN Human Rights Council with the Special Rapporteur on Climate Change. They also attended the United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights, as well as side events on themes such as "Democratic Backsliding and Freedom of Expression" and "Transnational Repression", and met with David Lopez, the Latin American Human Rights Affairs Advisor of the International Association for Human Rights and Social Development, and exchanged views with representatives from the Women's Federation for World Peace.
