Zhou Shuchun, executive vice-president of China Foundation for Human Rights Development (CFHRD) and deputy chair of the Orchid Awards’ expert committee, attended the 2025 Orchid Awards Ceremony in Beijing on July 10.
Aiming to implement the Global Civilization Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Orchid Awards honors international friends and organizations for their outstanding contributions to promoting the common values of humanity, facilitating cultural exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations and consolidating the cultural foundation for building a community with a shared future for mankind.
Hosted by China International Communication Group and organized by Orchid Awards Secretariat, the event drew over 300 participants, including representatives from relevant departments of the CPC Central Committee, international organizations, diplomatic envoys to China, Chinese and foreign think tanks and media organizations.
