On Oct. 28, China Foundation for Human Rights Development (CFHRD), through its Shuxiang China Cultural Fund, received a donation of 188 sets of digital library systems from the China Digital Library, including the Shuxiang Campus and Young Pioneers Digital Library System and the Preschool Education Digital Library System. All donated systems will be used to support the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development in its designated assistance and paired support programs for seven counties (county-level districts and cities), including Hong’an County in Hubei Province, Datong Hui and Tu Autonomous County in Qinghai Province, Liancheng County in Fujian Province, and Kangma County in Xizang Autonomous Region.

 

A symposium on the donation was attended by Li Hongkui, vice-president and secretary-general of the CFHRD, Qin Liang, vice secretary-general of the CFHRD, Dong Hongmei, director of the Assistance Office of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and Peng Jiyong, assistant to the president of the China Digital Library, among others.
