The China Foundation for Human Rights Development hosted a side event on reducing inequalities and promoting the right to development in Geneva, Switzerland on March 13, on the sidelines of the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council.

 

Experts and scholars from Chinese research institutions and universities, representatives of Hong Kong youth groups, and the executive director of the Geneva-based non-governmental organization Universal Rights Group (URG) delivered speeches at the event. They held in-depth exchanges with government delegates and NGO representatives from both China and other countries.
